General Cocoa Error 513 — Day One app

So I'm not sure about any other apps that use iCloud but I get an error on my iPhone that says "Cocoa error 513" whenever I try to create a journal entry on Day One Any possible way to resolve this? I remember reading a popup saying old iCloud documents and files can't be used by older devices...

The only workaround I've found is to switch to Dropbox for sync.
