Coconut battery application caused Kernel Panic?

After reading the 39% battery health thread, I installed Coconut Battery last night.

When opening my PowerBook from sleep this morning I immediately got a kernel panic! Only my second ever! (The first one occurred when pulling out a fellow students USB thumb drive out in class one night about a year ago.)

Anyone else have the Coconut Battery app cause these problems?

For me, the program doesn't even read the status from the system.
