Coconut Battery/ID inaccurate information

I just ran the two coconut applications for the first time. Coconut battery says my MBP is 3 months old, but I only got it last week. And Coconut ID says my MBP was built in Shanghai, China, in the year 2000! It's the i5 15" MBP, so that's not even possible. I checked my friend's 13" MBP and it says the same thing, built in 2000. Are the Coconut programs inaccurate?

Is your Coconut Battery up to date? An older version had problems with that.
