CoD4 - downloaded version (gameagent) and running on MB Alu 2GHz

Hi, I just bought my MB Alu 2GHz, with GF9400M and I'm wondering if it will work good or not, and another thing is if I buy download from Aspyr's GameAgent would I have any disadvantages in comprission to box versions?

You may have to lower some settings but it should run fine. I have the downloaded version (got it when it was on sale.) Pros: Instant gratification, no CD needed for singleplayer. Cons: Draconian DRM (limited installs with your key, can only be installed on 2 machines, limited downloads) and it's 54.99. If I were you I'd buy it from amazon, it's $15 cheaper.

yeah or if you still want instant digital download/gratification steam has it for $40.00 no cdkey etc, just deals w/ steam DRM which isn't really DRM so much. I recommend that way. PC runs better than the OSX version in my experience as PC key works for Mac also.

Actually sorry, you were wanting it for OSX? If so yeah amazon I guess would be good, no cd needed for MP and you can always patch your file for no CD for single player.

If I were American or any other western nation I would buy in Amazon, but I'm from Poland and Amazon won't ship me any game etc... :/ In Poland Apple isn't so popular, there is hardly buy even iWork 09, and if u can buy it's for 130$ so for me the only way to buy Apple stuff is to buy on Ebay and other international shops which ships packages to PL.

Hi good website, but shipping rates aren't good, if I order CoD4 on ebay.co.uk it would be cheaper, about 60$ than 40$+30$=70$ maybe when shipping sth else it's good . I think I would order CoD4 on GameAgent, but are there any disadvantages of downloadable version?
