Hey MR,

I just wanted to ask: Is it possible to change multiplayer profiles from different copies of CoD4? I have a mac installation and recently got the game on steam on my windows partition so that I could run it at higher settings.

As it happens, I have a fully unlocked profile on my Mac partition that's taken a while to get, and is also part of a clan. Is it possible to locate, copy, and transfer the files into my copy of CoD4 on Windows?

Thanks!

I'm away from my computer but yes it's possible, I did this before.

All you have to do is to copy the profile that is located in the COD 4 folder that is in Applications , what I don't remember is the folder in windows where you have to put it .

You can make a quick search in google.

Hope you find it.

They both can be used interchangeably. The only thing you have to remember is that in order to do so, you have to use the same keycode; if you don't, you'll get some sort of error and the profile resets. This wont matter if you have backups of course.

The mpdata file that you need to transfer goes in Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\*insert your profile name here*

Another thing some may not know is that if you have the PC keycode, that one also works on Mac. ;)
