I don't know what you guys are playing at, but I'm only getting mediocre performance with my 9600m GT in bootcamp running COD4. I would like to try and run it at 1440x900 if at all possible, but even after tweaking the settings my performance still isn't the greatest. I updated my drivers to nvidia 185.85 from their website, too.

I have the MacBook Pro (late 2008 - unibody), 2,4 GHz, 4GB RAM, and while playing Cod4 on Mac OS X I'm getting pretty good performance when using the 9600M GT. My resolution is 1440x900, with medium/high settings (no AA, no V-Sync). Average FPS is at least above 40, so it's playable.

Since the game is a port, it should run even better on Windows.

So my question to you is, what settings are you using?

You know, I should try running it with no AA. The game defaults to x4, and I forgot to turn it off. That may increase FPS by a ********!

I had the 2.4ghz unibody as well and didnt notice anything out this world when playing 1440x900... I have the 2.8ghz now faster cpu, more l2 cache, 512mb card and i think its better now. I dont seem to notice a difference when playing with either the 9400M or 9600M GT do you guys ?

If we choose the optimal settings they default it to a lousy 1024x768 resolution, but I change it to 1440x900 and leave everything else default since I really dont know what they do.
