the states for now
My not even 3 week-old macbook was almost brought to a devastating end this afternoon. I went to reach for my mouse blindly, and hit the coffee cup(giant mug half-full) tumbling towards the top right of my keyboard. But that coffee that was missing had kicked my reflexes up a few notches. I without even noticing grabbed my macbook in a flash and twisted it upside down before more than a spoonful had fallen near the keyboard. A negligible amount hit the screen, and the rest spread over the table as the cup tumbled onto it. Im not sure it would have fared so well had I not been on my 4th cup at the time. :D

many ppl have same experience with coffee including me too..
i saw a spray which does waterproof. u might need it .

Please don't spray the "waterproofing" spray you'd use to waterproof your winter boots on your Macbook. The waterproofing stuff that's dielectric and otherwise safe for electronics costs about about $1,000 for enough to do one lap top.

Nice reflexes. That. Would. Have. Sucked.

Maybe you should consider trying out as a goalie for an NHL team...... I hear that the Ottawa Senators are looking :p
