Hello all,

Just ordered Aperture 3 retail. I have Aperture 2 Academic and I need to get rid of it.

My librairies are all on external drives—masters and backup copies.

Can I unplug the drives, use AppDelete on Aperture 2, install Aperture 3, and point the fresh installation of Aperture 3 to the library files on my external hard drives?

I wanted to be sure Aperture 3 automatically upgraded my librairies.

Thanks.

Yeah you can go ahead and delete Aperture 2. When I upgraded from Aperture 2 to 3 it actually asked me were my old library was stored I pointed it to the right folder and left it overnight to convert the library to a Aperture 3 library and now it works just fine :)
