I was reviewing the WWDC keynote, and I was wondering whether the Collaboration features work with anyone for whom you have an email address? Do they need to have a Mac with iCloud or an Apple ID? It’s not entirely clear whats going on behind the scenes.

Collaborating on a Safari tab group presumeably means that everyone needs to have Safari?

Has anyone tried this out in the beta?

From the documentation around Pages 12.1 and Big Sur the collaboration features work through iCloud, and if you use an email address to invite someone it must be an email address associated with their Apple ID.

Is this still the same?
