I've seen some people, one here (dont remember who though), who's created a collage using many images. The dominant colour in one image represents a single "pixel" or colour in the final collage, creating a new image.
Know what I'm talking about:confused:

If you do, could you direct me to a program that would let me do that automatically?

A quick Google search reveals this comparison. I have no experience with any of them, but it may help.

if i recall correctly, the bob marley one of all his record/singles, was done by hand...or maybe it was the star wars one that was. i forget.
