color added to old watch face

My favorite watch face added unwanted color bands with watch os9. I hate it and have sent a message to Apple but don't expect an answer. Why would they change an old watch face ?

Unfortunately, they have done this with many of the old watch faces which now have colour added to them in Watch OS9.

I used a similar 'Activity' watchface which had the activity rings in the middle of the clock and 3 colourless complications (top left, top right and bottom centre) but now in Watch OS9, all 3 complications have added colour (similar to your screen shot).
