Color change in dark Apple Smart Folio Case (2020)

Hello, has someone bought new smart folio case in black and can compare it with 2018 model in carbon grey? Is it really black now or only darker than last model? Thanks!

It’s darker, but not black.

I sold my carbon grey 2018 Smart folio, and bought a new 2020 Smart folio. Although I can’t compare them side by side, I can tell you the new 2020 Smart folio is a tad darker than the 2018 edition was.
