Hi guys,

Has anyone tested his/her 2012 iMac 27" display with colorimeter like Spyder? If so, please tell me how well the "new" iMac's display does in terms of color gamut. I am thinking of buying one for photo editing. Is it good enough? I know NEC and EIZO are better but they are just too pricy. Any info will be appreciated!

Unfortunately, Apple is still using the same LG panel they've been using for years now.

Yes, that's right--an iPad 3 or iPad 4 has wider gamut than a $2000+ iMac.
