Hello hello.. okay, so I'm not totally sure how to explain this very well.. but I installed leopard on my macbook pro a few weeks ago, and installed XP SP3 not long after that. I remember reading about having to update to the latest bootcamp in order to have the drivers to even install SP3, but it was too late and I somehow already had. Everything was totally fine other than the fact that my display drivers were seeming re-Fed every reboot. No matter if I rebooted into windows or os x, but color LCD would have mad discoloration.. really bright colors, and it would flash colors upon boot up and such. The only way I found to fix this was to download the ATI drivers, install, and reboot, and everything would be fine again.... until the next reboot, and then I'd have to reinstall the ATI drivers and reboot again to get back. My CRT connected to my macbook is not affected at all, so it's just the laptop LCD.
I deleted the windows partition and rebooted after a while and now my LCD is screwed again, but I have no windows to practice my old method of installing ATI drivers all the time and rebooting.. I'm just kinda stuck wondering if anyone has ever come across this, or if I should wipe 'er dry... Any thoughts, greatly appreciated.
cheers
