Heys i tried researching but could not find anything. I just purchased the macbook pro 2.4ghz this past week and the backlit keyboard light is white while ive seen other videos where the light looks more blue than white. Are the newer models coming with a white backlit keyboard?

I know you can change it to look blue (I planned to do that once, but never got around to do it).

Yes, but it only has 4 LEDs ( recall when reassembled my keyboard after the new one had a broken backlight circuit, so I used the old one to fix it). It uses white dots to show where it should light up.

EDIT: http://www.sealiesoftware.com/keyboard/ shows how the keyboard light mod is.

And finally, a little fun addition to iTunes to play with your keyboard backlight:

Some people have colored tinted keyboard skins/covers. That would make the backlight look whatever color the skins/covers are.
