I go to a pb forum that was created by an acquaintance using Safari. I'm Ok on it for a couple minutes, but after a couple of minutes the colored pinwheel comes on and spins interminably. I then go to the board using another browser or restart my computer. But the sequence happens all over again. Would someone be kind enough to let me know how I can fix this? This wasn't happening a month ago. I'm on OS 6.8.1 and the version of Safari is 5.1.10. Thank you for any insight. -K

Can anyone hear my call??

Old version of safari after some java updates or stuff like that starts eating an insane amount of ram that cause the spinning wheel a lot.
does the problem goes a way if you quit safari and start it again after a minute?

check on activity monitor under real memory, sometimes the safari web content may be taking about 2Gb of ram with only one page open

...don't know why, but i know it happens on older versions
