Best Color profile that I can make at the moment for the 9c98 (glossy 17'')

You guys better ****ing appreciate it... I will bring up the brightness and make the colors come alive... if the pictures you have aren't great quality it will bring up defects... but overall this is the best color profile I can make at the moment...

maybe its a little on the cool side... but I prefer it than warm...

This is not for professional quality... this will just make your pictures and browsing look ''GOOD''

Give me your feedback.

Try one of these ones, this is what I use on my 17" that I got last week. I also use the same on my 15" 2.66 and also on my old macbook. It seems to work with all three.

Let me know if they are any good. Hope it helps.

Nope... too green and dark Im afraid but thanks anyway...

Hello Guys,

Just got another 17'' MBP week 10 and came with the 9c98 screen wonder if you guys have any Color Profiles to remove the Blueish color...

Thanks!
JC

I'm on my second 17" MBP - both 9c98, and I'm not totally happy with this screen. The second one was less blue out the box, but the viewing angle is still not as good as on my old mid-2007 MBP 17" glossy Hi-Res. Colours look washed out on the dock icons if you move close to the screen. How does the viewing angle compare on your 9c98 to your 15" unibody?

Interesting you should mention that....

Colors change more in an angle on the 17'' and the screen of course is like 20% less brilliant....

The original setting for my 9c98 screen is superior to anything I have seen
here (and in other forums). I have no blue-issues. The only thing I could improve was stronger contrast. At the same time, this tends to darken some
shadows too much. I am a photographer and care much about this!
Another problem is that all the user calibrations I´ve seen, tend to make
the screen less bright - which you don´t want with the new 17" macbook pro.

I´m sticking with the original setting.

Color Profile for 9c98

This is the best I have gone so far calibrating my 9c98 display, I have checked in the apple store and the 9c99 is not different in brightness or viewing angle, just a tap less bluish, but to be honest after checking 9c99, I find the colors more vivid in the 9c98, try my profile and let me know what do you think.

Thank you for these color profiles. Hopefully more people can contribute on our quest to eliminate the bluish / violet hue that the MBP's display by default.
