Hi,

We have released a super simple color recognition app for the Colorblind on the mac App Store.

ColorCompass lets you know the name of the color currently pointed out by the cursor.
The app was designed to be as simple and unobstructive as possible:
- We reclassified the full color spectrum into 11 color names or simple mix thereof (Blue, violet, pink, red, ...), as we believe simple hue terms are what colorblind people actually need when working with colors.
- We based the hue recognition on one of the most advanced color models to give the best reliability compared to the usual RGB/HSV models.
- The tool scans the screen on each mouse move
- And it will take less than 0.5% of your screen real estate

The app is available on the mac App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/fr/app/colorcompass/id1082682348?mt=12
You can find more information about it here : www.color-compass.com

We hope ColorCompass will enable colorblind mac users to work more reliably and faster with colors.
