An octopus's garden
Strange thing happened last night. I was doing quite a bit of heavy graphics editing between photoshop and fireworks when I noticed the Colorsync utility open in my dock. I was nowhere near my utilities folder yesterday. I did recalibrate the monitor (Dell 2405) though just before I started working (much earlier in the day). Does this utility usually open of its own accord? Is this a warning or something?

I'm sure my poor 64RAM 5200 graphics card is moaning at me to replace it with something a little more powerful, but that can't have anything to do with it, can it?

I actually didn't know about the colorsync utility so I will use it, but I'm still wondering how it opened in the first place.

thanks
yt
