totally nutty. They'll custom color your ipod, powerbook, or ibook in 24 colors. Get your 15" Powerbook in Envy Green! Order new from them (would make me nervous) or send in yours (again, nervous...) iPods about 50 bucks xtra, lpatops about $300 extra. I wonder how it looks and how well it lasts.
Reminds me of an ex who used to sell NeXT parts and spray paint the cases black to match.
Anyone tried this place? Anyone have a lilac iBook?

Thanks for re-posting this URL for the ten-thousandth time.

But they are pretty cool, aren't they. :)

It bothers me that they don't tell you exactly how they color the computers and iPods...I'm afraid they might use some cheap spraypaint that will rub off after enough handling. Until, I see someone with one of their products, I wouldn't order from them.

If only they could get Apple endorsed...then that might change something.

ya, thats the kind of product I don't like to buy on the interweb. I would need to see it in person and talk to a person who accually owns the product, (the paint might come off )

they have a link to a segment from tech tv about it. it is taking forever to download though. i'm hoping that they give more details, not that i can get it done anyway as i don't live in america, but it looks interesting.

CNet ColorWare review!

I was just browsing the CNet front page, and they have a review of a ColorWare (PC)! It is called the "Great White Shark", and I think it is ColorWare's own brand of computer, otherwise CNet wouldn't have reviewed it.

The main thing that made me want to post this message is that the computer has a "eautiful case". Hopefully that means the Apple computers they sell will also have a case that is just as nice.

But for now, I think I'll stick with Apple...with an educational discount... :D
