Colorware Stealth

Will it show finger prints? Will it get shiny spots where the wrists sit? I had to ask! :D
 
I had my ipod photo painted black a few years back by coloware. They did a fabulous job but the paint job was pricey. If I had waited a year I could of bought a black 5g ipod and saved me some cash.

That's awesome. If I had the skill/talent, I might consider it. Get a replacement keyboard with blank black keys, too! One up Steve Jobs on minimalism!

I have a friend who does custom body work... and has access to a spray room... :)
 
That looks amazing, id definitely save up for one if apple sold them, although they'd probably be more expensive
 
I want it, but for $6k I could buy a whole apartment full of gear. IE: Mac Pro + big ass NAS + Time Capsule + AppleTV + 24" ACDs for our current MBP and MBA.

Id be willing to pay $200 or so for that nice flat black coating without the stupid 'stealth' branding on my current 17" though...
 
wait, its 3ghz, EIGHT gigs of ram, 256 SSD..

its not as bad as it is for 6k is it?

$4,249.00 CTO from Apple minus the matte screen. Less if you do aftermarket upgrades. Making at least $2,000 per laptop assuming they don't buy RAM and drives from Apple.
 
That is quite a slick computer but as others have said, not worth the $6K. Maybe one of these days when I hit the lotto...:p
