Have anyone here heard of colorware?

Or even had experience with them?

I would sure love a pretty black and white MBP.

but I'm not sure if I trust them with my baby.

my old roommate tried to order an ipod from there.. they ****ed up the order big time, charged his card twice, and then were a pain in the ass about fixing it so he canceled the order. :/

Way overpriced for what they do. Basically, they take the thing apart, sand it down, repaint it, and put some glossy stuff on. Anyone with a bit of patience and time can do it themselves for about $25 in supplies.

The previous 2 points are true but they do come out with some beautiful looking bits of kit! My friend at school had one done! And although I have never have it done (price conscious!) I was envious!

You think it's that easy maybe easy to say not do first of all they have to scuff it then clean it down then sand then prep it for paint then put the primer, then the color pigment then the gloss. After that they have to treat the paint.

If you do it yourself your result won't even be close.

They're big in their field and I've heard almost nothing but good things about them. The finish they apply is apparently very tough.
