Here's two problems I can't find an answer for.

1. I have my 24" (early 2008) iMac hooked up to my Sony Bravia TV. The Sony has a native resolution of 1920x1080 while the iMac has 1920x1200. When I have them as separate screens everything works fine but when I try to duplicate the screen my iMac looses screen area from the top and bottom (probably the an amount equal to the difference between 1080 and 1200), it gets letter boxes quit simply.

Is there any way in which I can duplicate my iMac screen to the TV without loosing screen area on the iMac? I don't mind if I loose a little on the TV but I'd like the iMac to remain full screen while using duplicate screen.

2. All of the sudden my iMac has gone purple on me, everything has a purple tint to it. The red channel has probably increased somehow, even though I haven't changed anything. Where can I get it back to normal? I tried under screens/colour but it just threw me to some complicated .icc file that has hundreds of parameters with changeable numbers. Not sure how that's supposed to help.

Thanks for your time!
