Hi, this is my first time post; I've googled and read many forums but I couldn't find an answer to the following problem(s), I hope someone can help me out:

I use Finder (columns view) on OSX 10.6.6 a lot, however;

1- when I get to the far right column and run out of screen, I find I can no longer manually increase the width of that column.

2- the preview of images is set by default to a relatively small size; I can increase the width of the column manually, unless I run into problem # 1. Depending on image size, the preview of the image will enlarge.

3- the preview of movies shows the first frame of that movie; can this be replaced by an image ?

I know how to adjust column width to its content, and that you can import movies into iTunes and link them to images; but what I would like to know is how to solve these problems in Finder.

I've tried another program called Path Finder, but it has the same problems.
Any help would be very much appreciated. : )
