Combine 2 partitions on external drive

Greetings,

I'm running hight sierra on my macbook pro. I partitioned my external drive and want to combine them back, how should I do? There are no important data that I wana save.

If you don't care about the data on the drive, use disk utility to erase the drive. It'll put it back to one partition.

But i can only erase them separately. Then they become 2 erased drives

Maybe try selecting the drive rather than the individual partition and then erase

In the Disk Utility View options make sure you have selected Show All Devices then select the device.
