Combine credit card and itunes card

I was going to buy a game on iTunes, but on only have 4.58 left on my account. If I buy the game will it use the 4.58 first then take the remainder on my credit card or might it just use my credit card alone?

Only the remainder. I do this with my PayPal account. I had some credit in my account in iTunes, then I needed $.30 from my PP account and that is what it does.

Yup, I can attest as well. I bought an album (or my wife did) and the album was more than the $8.65 in my account, it charged my credit card the extra couple bucks.
