Combine multiple Internet connections?

I'd like to combine my home's wifi network and my iPhone's 3G network into one connection so that I can have faster upload speeds (1.85Mbps up at home, 1.5Mbps up on 3G, so around 3.4Mbps up combined). Is this possible?

In other words, I'd like to combine my Airport connection with my iPhone Tethering connection.

Not without special support at the ISP end. You cannot easily just bond two connections and have it work.

And you'd need to fool around with the software on the Mac as well, and it is NOT a trivial thing to do.
