I followed the instructions to combine 2 partitions into 1 located here: http://pitumbo.com/merge-or-combine-two-partitions-mac-osx#comment-12923

Everything seemed to go fine, but now Finder still displays the size available. i.e. I don't appear to have gained the extra space to my Macintosh HD, but the old drive is definitely gone.

I've run disc utility on the drive and the Macintosh HD partition and still no dice.

If I click on the drive and then partition it shows the partition as the full size of the disc and shows the partition as 200Gb. But if I click on the Macintosh HD partition (to the left under the drive) it shows the size as 69Gb.
