Combining buttons on iDVD, menu page

I have several buttons that I want to add. I am not sure if I'm asking the right questions, but is there a way to combine buttons on the screen? I currently have too many and I have an error. Do I need to combine in iMovie, first? I'm trying to figure this all out....new to all of this.

there has to be a way to get all of our Christmas together on one DVD....
