I have two movie files, that open in two different quicktime windows. Can i combine them into one file sequentially and save it? if so how?

Yes, though it might require QuickTime Pro.

In any event, just pick the one you want second, hit Cmd+A to select, all, Cmd+C to copy, then go to the first, move the playhead to the end of the file, and hit Cmd+V to paste. It's that easy.
