Combo of armored toughness and grip...?

I recently purchased the Spigen Tough Armor case with kickstand. While I love the protection aspect of the case and the kickstand feature, I'd gladly trade that for an "armored" case that has better grip. The Spigen case is very nice, but I still feel that if I whip out my phone to take a pic or whatnot, that it's gonna fly out of my hand.

I've searched the forums quite a bit, not coming up with what I need. Does an armored case with strong grip even exist? If the Tough Armor had rubberized sides instead of slippery smooth, I'd be in heaven. Only thing I've seen is one of the Griffin cases, but not aesthetically pleasing and I don't like the built-in front protector.

The Thule Atmos X3 is about the same size as the Spigen Tough Armor and is rated for a 6.5 ft drop. It has a nice grippy feel to it--I have it for the 6+ and it is available for the 6 as well. Best Buy sells them in the US. Great case. I wrote a review of it for the 6 + on my blog and have a YouTube review as well, if you are interested:

I purchased the black and am returning it back to Best Buy shortly. There was not enough lip for my taste, specifically with a glass screen protector. Also, it gets very wide in the middle of the case, more so than any other I have tried.
