Comcast Data Caps in TN

"This is a Courtesy Notice from Comcast to let you know that you have reached 90% of your 300 GB monthly data plan for your XFINITY Internet Service. As of 11-10-2015, you have 29 GB remaining for this calendar month."

Just started getting these notices.

I'm not sure how to feel about this. Am I using too much data through YouTube and Netflix?
Do I stop using YouTube/Netflix? Or pay the highway man his extortion?

You can get unlimited for $35 extra.

We still have no cap here in Denver. This past month I used 500GB.

Yep, Comcast is working hard at pushing us to a world where we have data caps like in the cellular world. All in the name of increasing revenue.

I think Comcast now runs the risk of being sued by the Federal government for deliberately imposing a data cap to keep away competition--something not allowed under US antitrust law.
