Comcast Digital Box on iMac??

hi everyone,

I have an imac. i just got an eyetv hybrid and ordered an hdtv digital box from comcast. The only problem is i'm very new to mac and i have no idea how to hook it up. When i ordered the comcast box, the lady on the phone said that the cable guy probably won't help me hook it up since i want it on the computer not on a regular tv..so i'll really appreciate it if anyone of you could help me...

Should be pretty easy though I dont know if the eye hybrid was the best choice.

1. Cable Coax into Digi Box.
2. Coax out of Digi Box to the EyeTV
3. Tune to channel 3 or 4 in EyeTV should pickup the Digi Box.
4. Change the channels etc on the Digi Box.

You may want to return the hybrid and get the other one they offer that does RCA in, instead of just Coax.

* you wont get HD though anything other than Componet / HDMI which is almost impossible to import to the iMac
