But the great part of being a bigshot CEO is that, even if your company gets taken over because your board has finally grown so sick of you they'd rather sell the company than deal with you anymore, you still walk away with a parting prize that would fund health care for every child on the continent of Africa.

aol / time-warner?

This is a bit like the old aol / time-warner thing. Comcast's market cap today is $30 billion, and its bid is more than twice that (including Disney's $9 billion outstanding dept).

Comcast seems to be over-reaching...
