You know the time! Add it to my calendar!!!! Hal is better than youuuuu

Come on, Apple! You've had two years to work on Siri!!

But really, is there an app that will actually do this?

Yeah, ESPN Sport Center. You get alerts when the game starts, can specify to update you each quarter, touchdowns, et cetera. No need to add it to your calendar. This is more beneficial if the game is delayed in that you are alerted real-time and not by default.

And is it really that hard to tap the mic and say this after she displays the data? "Remind me of the Pittsburgh - Florida State game Monday at 8PM" will also suffice if you want a reminder instead of a Calendar alert.

siri is overrated

Edit: sorry, for some reason I thought you were the OP.

Then don't use it. I happen to find Siri exceptionally beneficial and not a day goes by that I don't use it for something. It's really not difficult to learn how to get it to do what you want. I showed you a perfectly acceptable and easy solution to your problem; sounds like you're just being lazy.

And the other half of people...

"Siri, touch my body."
"I don't know what you mean by, touch my body"
"Siri is stupid/useless"

Ugh.

That is a viable workaround, but don't you think the whole point of Siri is to make things easier and quicker?

I don't see why one should need to repeat what Siri told them just to add it to a calendar. To make Siri a true 'personal assistant', it really needs to be able to keep track of a 'conversation' per se.

I tried "Add the next pitt panthers game to my calendar" and it still asked for the time.

I suggest you provide iPhone feedback to Apple. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a separate Siri category.

I went to the Maple Leafs website and subscribed to their season calendar. Easy enough. Most major sports franchises have these calendars right on their website and are available to be downloaded to calendar programs and smartphones.

not gona argue with an apple fanboy

I agree OP, it would be nice if Siri could follow the conversation a little better. Hopefully that's something they're working on.

Awesome tip, thanks !!!!

See the attached. Today I told Siri to remind me about office hours at 4:00 and she asked me what I wanted to be reminded about. 2 years later and Siri still not doing her job.

Siri works much better on my iPad 4 than on my iPhone 4s. Maybe the microphones are of different quality?

----------

I think that iOS 7 will improve Siri with that and various more functions. To bad they will replace the voice though :/

iOS 7 didn't change anything and its voice is really boring, you are right.
