Coming from an X, what accessories do I need?

I know I have to get an adapter but do I have to replace my car charger? It's some cheap off-brand, so I don't know if it's compatible or not. Also, should I get the Apple adapter, or is it another one that's better? I don't want MagSafe right now, just the good old fashion way for now.

I think my sister could use the car charger, and she always has a Samsung, but I can't really remember.
