I recently switched from Spotify to Apple Music and while I haven't had many issues with accessing the same music from Spotify, I feel like I am missing a key feature.

In Spotify, you could follow artists so you could access their albums later, if you wished. I used this to "bookmark" my favorite artists so I could easily find their material if I felt like listening to them. It was very much reminiscent of my iTunes music library, except I could just stream songs instead of downloading them and storing them.

I cannot find this functionality in Apple Music. Am I missing something? I know I can add songs to play lists and download to my library. But Im just looking for a list where I can access the artists I follow if I want to listen to a specific song or album and not download it.

Is this missing from Apple Music? It's my biggest complaint coming from Spotify. Any feedback is highly appreciated! Thanks!

I would love to use such a feature too but sadly it does not exist.
Heck Apple does not even make it easy to navigate to a genre of interest easy. Try doing that on the browse page.

There is a workaround though for your usage scenario. I dont like it myself but here goes:

Create a playlist having one song each of your favorite artists. No need to download this playlist. When you go into that playlist- at the bottom you will notice a list (horizontal) of artists in that playlist. Thats as far as you can get with this
