I got brand new iMac 24'' and have a small problem with
keyboard shortcuts: when I attempt to use command-delete to move a file to the trash - nothing happens.

I can delete the same file if I invoke "Move to Trash" using my mouse.

I have not changed any shortcut assignments, but anyway I tried to revert shortcuts configuration to "factory" settings. It does not help :(

Any hints what it might be?

I called apple support, and they gave me another shortcut for "send to trash"

Instead of commanf delete, he told me to use command + backspace.

I am not sure, but I think it might have something to do with me not using the english version...

But I hope this can help other that experience the same as I did...

Same problem on ENGLISH keybord and using backspace

I have the same problem either with "command + delete" or "command + backspace". Neither works to delete files from the finder. The strange thing is that it was working fine this morning... (the command + backspace)....
