I was trying to create a bootable macOS Sequoia USB installer on my M2 MacBook Air entering the command sudo /Applications/Install\macOS\ Sequoia.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled in Terminal but kept getting the error createinstallmedia: command not found. Double checked to make sure Install macOS Sequoia app [15.31 GB downloaded from the Mac App Store] was in the Applications folder and the target USB drive was formatted as Mac OS Extended [Journaled] with no spaces in the name. Ran the command several times, changed the name of the target USB to MyVolume but nothing worked. Kept getting the same “command not found“ error. Out of frustration I transfered the Install macOS Sequoia app to my 2019 Intel Mac Applications folder, entered the same command in Terminal and bingo, it worked right away.

The command you've quoted there is wrong: there should be a space between the first \ and "macOS". Might you have introduced the same error when you first tried the command?
