We had an iPad air and traded for the 2. Have an rMini. The glass on the 2 is bonded as I understand it, while the Air and Mini Screens aren't.

We play The Simpsons, Tapped out. A ton of tapping. Love everything about the 2 except tapping isn't is easy as on the "bouncy” screens of other iPads. Screen feels hard and doesn't respond to a tap quickly.

Anybody else experiencing this?

The fact it feels solid compared to the Air is why I love the Air 2. I never liked the screen on the Air.

The Air 1's screen feels hollow and sounds like plastic when you tap on it.

So glad I traded in my Air 1, could never get use to the hollow/squishy screen on the Air 1. The screen on Air 2 is more solid and touch response is much improved.
