I am shooting a commercial for a gym w/ some friends. We came up w/ an idea to be "following" people and every time they would see someone else there would be a match cut or some type of transition that switched over to the next scene.

An example of this was a beer or liquor commercial where some guy was in a bar and he would be sipping his beer and he'd turn to his left and it would be like a pub in the 1700's, and then he'd look down and slam his mug and there would be a different scene etc. Does anyone know what commercial I am talking about?

If you guys have ever seen this type of effect before and know of some good examples of where I could look, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

morrow,

Yes very similar concept w/ the match cuts etc.

Does anyone else have any similar situations?

I really appreciate the help.
