I noticed a commercial this week for the "new" iPhone 3G. What's new about it? Did they come out with the 32 GB - or God help us, the iPhone Nano - and forget to announce it? :D

Sounds like you need to get DTV ready :p If there is a new one then Im takin mine back.. im still with in the 14 days :)

Your watching TV from june 2008, Time to stop watching TV from those little 2 antennas.

Heh. No. It was one I haven't seen before, and it's not on the Apple site where you can watch some of the ads. It showed two iPhones, and the hand flips through the photos on the iPhones so they go together (hammer and nail, baseball and bat, etc.) and then it ends up showing the Apple logo and the AT&T logo, and says how well they go together. And at the bottom it says "the new iPhone 3G." You know, if it's a year old, I don't think it counts as "new" in cellphone world, so if it's an old ad, it's time to edit it!

I've seen that ad for a while now. Nothing new.

That commercial is old, I can't believe you just saw it for the first time.
PS. The iPhone 3G is not a year old yet.

Oh thats nothing new, but i just saw that commercial agian tonight too. Guess they starting playing the ads agian, since they stopped for a couple of weeks.

I guess I don't watch enough television, because I'd never seen it before. And you're right, the 3G isn't a year old yet - I was thinking of the 16 GB. D'oh. But still, it's certainly not new enough to keep trumpeting that it's "new."

I do watch a fair amount of TV and first saw this commercial a couple of nights ago. I've seen all of the others (and always stop to watch them!), but hadn't stumbled on this one before.
