I asked this before SL Server came out and I'm hoping, even though it's been a few days since it's release, that someone might have some guidance for me. Here's what I'd like to do.

I would like a common address book of customers stored on a server. I would like limited editing abilities of this address book by users of the system. I would like the users of the system to be able to access/sync it to their address books, iphones, laptops, desktops, whatever, and keep their personal contacts separate from the customer database.

Can Snow Leopard Server do this?

Our group currently uses Google Apps to do everything (email, calendaring, etc.) but their contacts aren't sharable. Only the list of users who have accounts is shared, you can't share your own list of contacts.

Any ideas? I'd love it if SL Server could do it because I'd love the reason to buy it. If not, can anything other than something like Daylite or Now X (which cost way too much IMO)?

Thanks in advance.
