OK. I've been researching the freeze problem on Macbook Pros, as it has happened to me (-and after a day of not going online at all, to boot).
Ha, boot.
Anyway, grey screen, loading bar pops up, loads one bit, disappears and the loading wheel turns into infinity.
But I've found I need in-depth help so I will post what I've been shown in SafeBoot mode (shift, command, v) and see if I can fetch an answer from any of you who are more tech savvy. (Running Macbook Pro OS X Lion 2011 model)
Here's what's listed as wrong in safeboot:
Invalid leaf record count
Keys out of order
Rebuilding catalog B-tree
(And, drumroll) HD could not be repaired.
Also there is mention of socket not being connected.
I would totally appreciate any help someone might be able to offer! Thank you in advance-
