Hmm, I don't think you understand why I chose not to import Addressbook.app contacts. The information there doesn't contain carriers so you would have to enter it anyway.
 
Well, I would have to both agree and disagree on that point. True, you may not have to enter the phone number and name, but what if you have a cellphone and a home phone listed on the same person? This could make things more complicated.
 
Well, I couldn't get it going. I added my carrier to the list, entered my phone number and sent a message, but didn't receive it. But if I type the first half of my phone's email address into the Number box, it works. But I can accomplish the same thing with Mail, and don't see why I should use Communiqué instead.
 
Works for Sprint PCS

Ha. Not Bad: worked just fine on my Sprint PCS phone. Could be cool to send texts to my friends in London and Dublin. They are on Orange I believe. But... I don't think it's worth 9 dollars.
 
I'm in NZ and it doesn't work by number, only by email address (on Vodafone). But you can just use Mail to do the same job.
