Community Forum Software

I am looking to set up a community forum for a condo complex in which I live. We collectively own a clubhouse and require a calendar to upcoming events etc. There are less than 100 people involved so it does not have to be huge or fancy. My question is, what is the best and simple forum software for a MacBook Air?

Thank you for the reply. I refuse to use google for anything but will look at Yahoo Groups.
