Safari on my MacBook just stopped working. After several failed attempts to fix the problem, I purchased and installed Snow Leopard today. At first there were no issues and I was very relieved. Now when I open Safari, I get a pop up that tells me the community toolbar doesn't support my Safari. I am very frustrated! Anyone else experience this? Any resolutions?

Community ToolBar is a third-party add-on for Safari. I'm not familiar with it but if it's causing problems for you, I'd remove it. See more Here.
