I am thinking about buying a new M1 iMac with the VESA mount option. And I would like to put a second monitor right beside it, with one of these VESA mounts for two Monitors.
My problem now is finding as close as possible to the iMac screen specs.
so 24“ and probably 4K? Any suggestions where to look?

Try B&H Photo or Best Buy.

The closest that you’re going to get in terms of color and resolution is the LG UltraFine 4K. I don’t think there are any standalone 4.5k monitors in existence and there’s like one other 24” 4K consumer monitor bedsides the UltraFine:

But wouldn’t expect this one to look anywhere near as good as the iMac display.

When I get my M1 iMac, it will have stands, but next to it will be my ancient 10 year old: Apple 24" Cinema Display.

I like the 1900x1280 resolution (matches Apple non Retina) displays.

I hope the Cinema display (w/ adapter) will work and look nice next to the M1 iMac...

Think about a beautiful LG 48CXPTA OLED TV. superb than any Apple LCD, except for the 6K XDR monster.

Thanks, the 24" LG Looks good, at least it has the same dimensions and is 4k.
I didn't find any others that are 24" and 4k.
