Comparable monitor to iMac

One thing for sure, is that the screens on the iMacs are very nice. What are you guys using as an external monitor with Windows that provides a crisp sharp image with decent colours?

My initial thoughts were an LG 27" 4k IPS screen and use 150% Windows scaling to provide a retina like 2560x1440 equivalent.

Any thoughts?
