Is it me or have Apple removed the 'compare ipad model' link from the top of the menu? There is still a 'compare iPad' link at the bottom of the page, but it links it to:

This only shows us the current active lineup of 4 iPads. I always like to compare the older models to see what spec bump ups there have been.

Is this a marketing ploy? Or is it just temporary and they will re-install it later?

Scroll down on the page.

Is that where you went? Usually there’s an option once you get in there somewhere to change models you’re comparing. I just checked the US website and I could still compare various models. Maybe your website will update later.

Apologies to OP, when I first posted my reply I know it looked like I was being short with my response. I accidentally hit post before I was done. Sometimes browsing on my phone allows clumsy fingers to do something I wasn't meaning to.

Also, I just noticed your original post said the link I sent in the picture is where you went. I'd bet it will update for you later.

Ah thanks for that Olde Dave (and no, I didn't think you were being short :)). The link you marked up with your arrow is the one I see, but it takes me to the 4 current ipads and it doesn't go to the usual page where you have a drop down menu of the previous models to compare.

I'm on the UK website, so hopefully that will update and its not permanent. Thanks for responding!

Here’s the link to the US compare models for iPad webpage. I don’t know if it’s blocked in the UK but I couldn’t find the UK version. Maybe Apple took it down.

Also in the UK and noticed the same thing! I wondered if it may be because the updates today are so minuscule that they don’t want prospective owners comparing them with the previous generation…it’s weird that the comparisons for all other products are still there.
